Don't know how many fantasy sports sites use Twitter, but you could use it to post news, new articles, hot forum topics etc.

Hopefully these sites could help expand the presence of BFS, and get more people registered for the forums!

Yeah that's true , I myself is in facebook and twitter both. These community sites would definitely help to make the promotion and show the new updates in a big way.
